BEIJING (ACN Newswire) -
The world's most innovative InsurTech companies have been named to this year's InsurTech 100 by FinTech Global. According to FinTech Global research, nearly $17 billion has been invested in InsurTech companies since the beginning of 2017, making the selection process more competitive each year.
Industry analysts diligently reviewed, interviewed and voted from more than 1200 companies that aspired to the InsurTech 100 list. The finalists were selected for their innovative use of technology to solve significant industry problems, to generate sizable cost savings or to improve efficiencies across the insurance value chain.
Cheche Technology is a digital insurance distribution and services platform that allows consumers and distribution partners to find their ideal products and protections from insurance companies. It allows real-time insurance transactions where a purchase can be completed in a matter of minutes digitally, significantly improving customer experience, distribution efficiencies and helping carriers grow. The company provides products such as EasyInsur, Cheche Auto Insurance and Abao Insurance that are tailored to distribution partners and end consumers in various insurance verticals, including auto, commercial and Life and Health insurance.
Cheche Technology works with over 100 insurance companies (80% or more of the carriers in the P&C space) in China on a national scale and has deep technology, data and analytics capabilities. The company is actively looking to expand on the overall insurance value chain by providing risk rating/underwriting capabilities and innovative products such as SaaS tools to insurance companies and intermarries as we continue to grow our leading position in a fast-evolving market.
Some notable names selected this year and in prior years include Root, Lemonade, Policybazaar, Vertafore among other innovative Insurtechs; all of them have had strong capital raising or M&A activities in the public or private markets this year. Cheche Tech was the only Chinese InsurTech that appeared on this Top 100 list.
Cheche Technology is planning a minimum USD 500 million IPO next year.
